They were quick, professional, and efficient from start to finish. Despite working on a very hot day, they arrived even earlier than expected and completed the job with great quality. They redid my sidewalk approach and poured a concrete patio slab in my backyard, and everything turned out excellent. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and wouldn't hesitate to use them again!
Had our deck build done by CalRod Const. in spring of 2026. This was a complete tear off and removal of the old rickety improperly built deck (see last couple photos) that was decades old. With the deck removed, old concrete rubble hauled away, CalRod immediately got to work with site leveling and new heavy duty footings, and continued the robust build all the way through. Jeff took the time to make sure the design would blend well with a 100yr old home, and time spent on details and craftsmanship far exceeded everything we expected. The new deck is not only solid, but turned out amazing! From build quality, custom design, and the hidden fasteners on the deck surface, CalRod was by far the best choice for our build!
